CSMASTER

In May 2011, Saint Xavier University hosted the 2011 IEEE International Symposium on Technology and Society, a conference that drew presenters from the U.S., Europe and Australia.   The two-day event covered topics that ranged from providing hearing and sight-impaired students with technology and pedagogy in computing courses, the ethics of mobile computing, to efforts being made on the part of universities (including Saint Xavier) to recruit and retain more women in computing majors and courses.  Dr. Florence Appel chaired the event as site coordinator.
